The Christian life is about submission, which brings freedom. Yet our modern culture elevates personal comfort and convenience over conviction, pride over humility, and opinion over truth. The Church has not been immune from these cultural influences. The song Submitted was borne out of helping and watching people of faith step away from being comfortable in order to take a stand for the Gospel. They were persecuted as a result, but living on the edge of faith, surrendering and trusting that God will provide everything they need. “Your Church must feed the lost submitted to Your cross.”
